Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act — DSG, Austrian Telecommunications Act — TKG 2021). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Server log files (hosting)

When you visit this website, the web server automatically stores technical access data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the page accessed and information about the browser and operating system used (server log files). This data serves to ensure trouble-free operation and to improve the security of our website and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person without further data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are only stored for as long as is necessary for these purposes.

Cookies and local storage

This website largely works without cookies. We only store your decision in the cookie notice (consent or refusal) as a technical entry in your browser’s local storage (“localStorage”, entry az-consent). This entry does not contain any personal data and is not transmitted to third parties.

Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie notice will Google Analytics be loaded, whereby cookies are set by Google (see below). You can revoke or change your decision at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and delete stored cookies and website data in your browser.

Google Analytics 4

If you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GR4PJF8GFV), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), on this website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze your use of the website. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses and collects data from EU users on EU servers; however, a transfer of data to servers of Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. The transfer to the USA is based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) and standard contractual clauses.

Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can revoke any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” in the footer. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

Contact form (Formcarry)

If you contact us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, subject, message) in order to handle your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is the implementation of pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in answering your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We do not pass on this data without your consent; it is only stored for as long as is necessary for processing or as required by statutory retention obligations.

For the technical transmission of the form, we use the service Formcarry (Pixelhop LTD). The form data is forwarded to us via Formcarry’s servers. Further information can be found in Formcarry’s privacy policy.

Google reCAPTCHA

To protect our contact form against automated access (spam), we use Google reCAPTCHA v2 by Google Ireland Limited on the contact page. reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor (e.g. IP address, time spent on the page, mouse movements) in order to distinguish between humans and bots; data is transmitted to Google in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our website against misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information: Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy.

YouTube video

We embed a product video from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) on our website. We use a two-step solution: when the page is loaded, only a locally stored preview image is displayed — no data is transmitted to YouTube. Only when you click the “Play video” button is the video loaded via the privacy-friendly domain youtube-nocookie.com (enhanced privacy mode); from that moment on, Google receives technical data such as your IP address. The legal basis is the consent you express by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

Fonts and external content

All fonts, icons, stylesheets and scripts on this website are loaded locally from our server. In particular, no Google Fonts or other content delivery networks are embedded; when you simply visit the website, no data is transmitted to third parties — apart from the consent-based services described above.

TLS encryption

This website uses HTTPS with TLS (Transport Layer Security) to transmit data securely on the internet. You can recognize the encrypted connection by the lock symbol in your browser and the prefix https:// in the address bar.

Your rights

With regard to your personal data stored by us, you are in principle entitled to the rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You can revoke any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, please use the contact details given above. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if the legal situation or the services used on this website change. The version published on this page applies.
